I received my B.A. in Health Sciences and have a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. I am a board licensed acupuncturist, nationally certified Chinese Herbalist and consultant, and a NCCAOM Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, a member of the LPGA Medical Advisory Committee, the Florida State Oriental Medicine Association, and the American Association of Oriental Medicine. Additionally, I am certified in Auricular Therapy, Reflexology, Addiction Protocols, Electrodermal Screenings, Scalp Acupuncture for Shaking Conditions, and more.
I also believe in the use of herbal treatments. My practice includes herbal alternatives to drugs, modern uses for the classical formulas, chemotherapy support, cardiovascular disorders, herbal treatments for chronic fatigue and specific applications to use in Cancer. I also study the contraindications to use with prescription medications, herbs and food.
Natural health care is the guiding principle in my medical practice and was developed through my own health crisis. I had a pretty severe accident and, within three months of acupuncture and herbal medicine, I was able to stop taking all prescribed pain medications. I really believe our planet provides everything we need to be well, and I began studying and utilizing the most effective aspects of natural and alternative health care including functional medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, homeopathy, eastern and western herbalism.
